I've been building websites and digital platforms since the mid-1990s — long before "digital transformation" became a buzzword.
For a long time, I thought this work was about technology. Then I realised it was always about something else entirely: connection.
Connecting businesses to their customers. Ideas to their audiences. Organisations to their purpose. That's what a great website actually does — and it turns out, connecting people is what I'm wired for.
I founded Meta Digital in early 2002 from that instinct. What started as a small web studio in Christchurch has grown into a team supporting over a thousand organisations, with hundreds of websites under active care.
These days, I'm most in my element as a connector and thinking partner — helping people find clarity, direction, and the right decisions in what can often feel like a noisy, confusing space.
